Bimetallic hand with saw blade teeth collapse what is the cause
Author:
The causes of bimetallic hand saw blade tooth collapse are mainly reflected in the following aspects:
Bimetal band saw blades inevitably always produce minor malfunctions during operation. Among them, tooth collapse is a relatively common fault of bimetal band saw blades. There are many reasons for the occurrence of tooth collapse failure, involving sawing machine aspects, improper operation and so on. The following analyzes the causes of the failure of tooth collapse during the use of bimetallic band saw blades.
1. Tooth collapse is due to the sawing machine.
2. The sawing machine is affected by the vibration of the surrounding equipment, and the screws of the fixed sawing machine are loose, resulting in the shaking of the saw frame, then the saw blade is easily affected by vibration during the cutting process. The oil cylinder on the sawing machine enters the air, the oil cylinder is broken or the control valve is out of control, etc., which will cause the drop speed of the saw frame to be uneven, resulting in tooth collapse.
3. The straight line between the guide grappling mechanism and the guide wheel and the three points of the guide wheel is not accurate, resulting in the movement of the sawing machine is also biased, the bimetal band saw blade will suddenly move left and right during the cutting process, the cutting is unstable, the saw teeth are easy to break, and the final tooth collapses.
4. The motor belt is damaged and aged in long-term operation, and the bimetal band saw blade may be lost in operation, then the operation of the band saw blade and the sawing machine will also have intermittent stoppage, easy tooth collapse. Fifth, some parts of the sawing machine may be damaged due to the long use of the sawing machine, resulting in the operation of the sawing machine is not smooth and prone to problems, then it will also affect the problem of tooth collapse of the bimetal band saw blade.
When we choose, improper selection of bimetallic hand saw blades can easily lead to tooth collapse failure. If the user cuts at will, regardless of whether the material to be cut is solid or hollow, and no matter what kind of tooth pitch the material to be cut is suitable for, then the tooth collapse is certain. Even if a large serration cuts a small area of material, tooth collapse will occur.
Improper operation is an important cause of tooth collapse of bimetallic band saw blades. The operator improperly feeds at the beginning, resulting in the saw blade being unstable in operation and falling fast, resulting in too much pressure on the tooth tip of the band saw blade, which is easy to produce tooth collapse. Or the operator is sloppy, and the clamp between the guide blocks is either too tight or too loose, so that the saw blade is easy to oscillate during cutting. Or the cutting material is installed incorrectly, causing the saw blade to rub when cutting the material. These can lead to tooth collapse.
